Faceless Pumpkin

Faceless Pumpkin is a craftable item. The recipe is available from start during Hallowed Nights event. It spoils after 8 days. Player can wax it with Beeswax to stop it from spoiling.

Player can use Pumpkin Carving Tools to carve it and turn it into Pumpkin Head. The resulting Pumpkin Head retains the same spoilage state as the original Faceless Pumpkin. If the Faceless Pumpkin was waxed prior to carving, the resulting Pumpkin Head will also remain waxed.

Pumpkin Head

Pumpkin Head is an item that can be equipped on head. Player can get it after using Pumpkin Carving Tools to decorate Faceless Pumpkin. Player can use Pumpkin Carving Tools to edit the carving of it. Player can wax it with Beeswax to stop it from spoiling.

During the dusk and night, Pumpkin Head emits a small light from carved parts that does not save player from darkness. Wearing Pumpkin Head will prevent player from losing Sanity from dusk, night, Ghost, Bigspook, Pipspook and Spooks.

Carving

To start carving, hold a Pumpkin Carving Tools and click on a Faceless Pumpkin or Pumpkin Head. This opens a canvas (UI) with pumpkin and various decorating elements. Players can select different shapes for left eye, right eye and mouth. All 3 parts always have static positions. Each Pumpkin Carving Tools in player's inventory gives 9 different decoration variants for each of 3 parts.

A randomization option is also available, applying random decoration variants from the set of currently available options.
