Ickers are creatures exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in From Beyond. They spawn in groups of 5 to 10, in narrow areas in the Caves during Shadow Rift activity. Ickers have Planar Entity Protection, which greatly reduces Physical Damage from a Weapon. When attacked, Ickers drop globs of goop that slowly crawl back to them, healing for the damage they receive. If the player cannot deal damage faster than the Icker heals, they will never be able to defeat it.
The blobs dropped from Ickers can be collected by using an Empty Bottle and turn it into an Icker Jar. This can be used to lower an Icker's health if one cannot kill it in one go.
Getting too close to an Icker causes the player to be slowed by its goop, reducing their speed by 70%. If an Icker lands directly on the player or the player gets inside their hitbox, it deals 4 hits of damage and steals one equipped item. This can be particularly dangerous if the stolen item is a light source or essential equipment like armor or a weapon. The stolen item will drop when Icker is killed or player gets eaten again.
Most undefended Survivors can be killed instantly if they are absorbed into an Icker due to its total damage being 160, so extra caution must be taken when exploring The Caves during Shadow Rift activity.
When an Icker gets shocked by any Electrical items, it drops blobs, leaving it at a most vulnerable state, in which the Survivors can quickly kill it before it can regenerate fully.
Survivors mounted on a Beefalo are still slowed when moving through Ickers, but they cannot be absorbed by it.
Ickers will despawn once the Shadow Rift closes.
Fighting Strategy
Below is the number of hits it takes with each weapon to kill a Icker when playing with characters with a default damage modifier. The Weather Pain, Brightshade Staff, and Bee Mine are not included due to their random natures. This table does not take into account the damage bonus gained from characters with a lunar or shadow affinity. It also does not take into account the 40% damage bonus Wendy gets from attacking the same mob as Abigail, Wanda's damage bonus with Shadow weapons (except for the Alarming Clock, which does accurately reflect that bonus), or Wolfgang's damage multiplier when he isn't mighty.

Icker is immune to being frozen, and it is immune to being put to sleep.
Note that this table assumes that the Icker doesn't heal at all. Weapons that don't deal Planar Damage typically don't deal damage fast enough to kill an Icker. One possible way to kill it with a low-damage weapon is to collect its blobs with Empty Bottles before they can heal it.
