“Hypnotically swirling, ever-drawing, it swallows all caught within its eye.\nHighly destructive to boats and structures alike.”
The Giant Whirlpool appears in the deep ocean. When a Boat is close, it will get dragged into the Giant Whirlpool and get destroyed. Players and items will be sent to the Ocean Detritus in Sanctum. This is the only way to get into the Sanctum.
Like the Whirlportal, traveling through the Giant Whirlpool will increase players' Wetness by 20.
Ocean Detritus
“I sea debris.”
“What do I care about a pile of sea junk.”
“Any goodies for Wolfgang in sea garbage pile?”
“Is it even worth digging through?”
“POSSIBLE SALVAGE DETECTED”
“It appears to be sea debris and remnants from our watercraft.”
“Anything good in there?”
“I'd rather not pick through that.”
“Sea spöils!”
“Let's dig for treasure!”
“Never know what I might find!”
“Good stuff”
“Some good pickins here.”
“Lots of flotsam.”
“Ocean poop?”
–Wurt
“You smell anything in there, Woby?”
“Not how I want to spend my time.”
Ocean Detritus is a structure that appears only in the lobby of Sanctum. It functions as a storage point for items that have passed through the Giant Whirlpool. Players can interact with the Detritus to retrieve these items. If a mob falls into the Giant Whirlpool, its dropped items will also be stored inside the Ocean Detritus.
