Undisclosed Construct

–Wurt

The Undisclosed Construct spawns in the center of the Wagpunk Arena after filling Hermit Island completely with Substrate Extrapolators. After giving the Encapsulated Celestial Revenant to the Grainy Transmission, it turns into W.A.R.B.O.T..
W.A.R.B.O.T.

–Wurt

W.A.R.B.O.T. is a structure that is unveiled after giving an Encapsulated Celestial Revenant to the Grainy Transmission. When it is unveiled, the Fulcronial Selector appears next to it, and the Grainy Transmission prompts the player to interact with it. Upon interacting with the Fulcronial Selector, W.A.R.B.O.T. activates and wanders around. A few seconds after it activates, it is corrupted by lunar power and becomes Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T., a boss monster.
Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T.

–Wurt

Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. is a boss monster that spawns from activating the Fulcronial Selector.
Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. has Planar Entity Protection.
After being defeated, the Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. discards its shell and leaves three W.A.R.B.O.T. Legs on the ground, revealing the Celestial Scion inside.
Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. will determine its attack period based on the rate at which its health declines:
DPS | ≤ 225 | 225 ≤ DPS < 300 | 300 ≤ DPS < 375 | ≥ 375 |
---|---|---|---|---|
attack period | 3.5 | 3 | 2.5 | 2 |
Fight
Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. has four attacks, in addition to the continuous attacks of its Terramites and Warblers:
- Slam: Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. slams itself into the ground, dealing damage to any players right next to it. It only uses this attack if it has a target close to it.
- Jump: Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. jumps in place three times to telegraph its attack, then flies through the air to land on the player. This attack is easiest dodged by standing still and moving right before it connects, or alternatively by teleporting with a Lazy Explorer or one of Worto's Souls.
- Heat-seeking missiles: After reaching 17,000
or less, Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. sends out several flying heat-seeking missiles. They target any heat source, which includes fires, hot Thermal Stones, and players that aren't actively freezing. It is nearly impossible to dodge a missile that is targeting the player. Once Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. has started this attack, it will not stop until a specific amount of damage[Need Clarification] is dealt, after which it will continue its normal pattern.
- Beam: After reaching 9,000
or less, Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. spawns a circular light wave at the top of its head, signaling to the sky to create a high-energy beam attack centered at the player. This can be easily dodged by a player who predicts it and continuously moves. It does not use this attack very frequently.
Terramites and Warblers
Main article: Terramite
Main article: Warbler
After reaching 14,500, Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. wakes up any Terramites or Warblers around it. Both will circle around Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T., but each has its own attacks.
Terramites will spin around Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. in a circular motion. If two Terramites touch each other, they will bounce. If they touch the player, they deal damage unless the player is wearing a hard armor.
Warblers will move in and out around Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. in a circular motion. Periodically, they shoot a projectile straight down, dealing 45 electric damage.
Tips
- When spawning Celestial Revenant, it is important to consider how many Terramites and Warblers to use. The total number must add up to six, but the player can decide how many of each to use.
- Many players consider Warblers to be easier to fight than Terramites, since they can only deal damage periodically. These players often fight with either 5 or 6 Warblers and 0 or 1 Terramites.
- However, Terramites are more useful than Warblers, since they can be used to farm resources after the fight is over, so it may be better to use Terramites. Using three Terramites and three Warblers pairs nicely, since one can hammer the three Warblers afterward for three Gyroscopic Transduction Core to repair the three Terramites.
- If one doesn't care about farming resources with Terramites or the difficulty of the Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. fight, the easiest approach is to use six Terramites, as Gestalts are generally easier to acquire than Greater Gestalts or Grazers.
- It is recommended to kill Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. near the center of the Wagpunk Arena, as that located the three W.A.R.B.O.T. Legs in a favorable position for the Celestial Scion fight.
- Intentionally freezing oneself with an Ice Crystaleyezer is a great way of avoiding the heat-seeking missiles. Jellybeans work very well to counteract the freezing damage.
- Since Celestial Scion has an Enlightenment meter and Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. doesn't, it is recommended to lower one's Sanity towards the end of the Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. fight so that it isn't maxed out for the start of the Celestial Scion fight.
- The Shadow Maul does this nicely, especially in conjunction with the Ice Crystaleyezer strategy described above.
Trivia
- The Undisclosed Construct, W.A.R.B.O.T., and Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. were added in the Hostile Takeover update.
- In the early beta, after defeating the Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T., only a Beta Report drops. The report looks the same as a Map Scroll. When examining, it says "Thanks for playing the beta! Boss final phase and rewards coming soon... You defeated Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T. in {time}s."
- Later in the beta, after Celestial Scion was added, Beta Report no longer drops from Enlightened W.A.R.B.O.T., but it can still be spawned in with code
