月岩企鸥（Permafrost Pengull）是多人版饥荒独有的敌对怪物且在旧神归来加入。 冬季期间内玩家在月岛上靠近海洋时月岩企鸥有概率登陆， 它是企鷗的变种，具有更可怕的外观，包括骨骼翅膀，脚和喙以及具有可见内部器官的冰状体皮肤。

月岩企鸥会攻击附近的生物，类似于猎犬，但他们不攻击其他企鸥或月岩企鸥。

与企鸥类似，他们有维持12天的饥饿值， 它们会在饥饿中受到伤害并最终死亡。 月岩企鸥被击杀后掉落冰和怪物肉。
