岩浆虫（Lavae）是在多人版饥荒推出时加入到巨人王朝DLC中的生物。它有 500 点的生命值，且会由蜻蜓龙召唤而生成。任何直接接触到或在它附近的物品都会着火，包括玩家。岩浆虫对火免疫。

杀死岩浆虫将会让它的掉落物燃烧而成为灰烬，让蜻蜓龙在吃了之后能更容易再次入睡。

岩浆虫在被冰冻后便会死亡，并掉落 1 到 5 个圆石。冰冻是杀死岩浆虫最简单的方法，因为它们的生命值和伤害都很高，而且可以在很短的时间被召唤出来。使用冰冻法杖攻击需要 3 次才能冰冻它。岩浆虫在被蜻蜓龙召唤 30 秒后也会自己死亡。

漏洞

• 岩浆虫会对跳入虫洞的玩家失去兴趣，除非玩家再次攻击它，否则不会再寻找新目标。
• 岩浆虫即使被人工智能角色攻击也不会反击。
• 岩浆虫会让营火永久燃烧，值到重新开启服务器才会熄灭。
• 使用控制台生成的岩浆虫不会攻击玩家，并会在做出后空翻后消失。
