岩漿蟲（Lavae）是在多人版饑荒推出時加入到巨人王朝DLC中的生物。牠有 500 點的生命值，且會由蜻蜓龍召喚而生成。任何直接接觸到或在牠附近的物品都會著火，包括玩家。岩漿蟲對火免疫。

殺死岩漿蟲將會讓牠的掉落物燃燒而成為灰燼，讓蜻蜓龍在吃了之後能更容易再次入睡。

岩漿蟲在被冰凍後便會死亡，並掉落 1 到 5 個圓石。冰凍是殺死岩漿蟲最簡單的方法，因為牠們的生命值和傷害都很高，而且可以在很短的時間被召喚出來。使用冰凍法杖攻擊需要 3 次才能冰凍牠。岩漿蟲在被蜻蜓龍召喚 30 秒後也會自己死亡。

漏洞

• 岩漿蟲會對跳入蟲洞的玩家失去興趣，除非玩家再次攻擊牠，否則不會再尋找新目標。
• 岩漿蟲即使被人工智慧角色攻擊也不會反擊。
• 岩漿蟲會讓營火永久燃燒，值到重新開啟伺服器才會熄滅。
• 使用控制台生成的岩漿蟲不會攻擊玩家，並會在做出後空翻後消失。
