“Happy Winter's Feast!”

Winter's Feast（冬のお祭り）はDon't Starve Togetherの大型アップデート「A New Reign」にて導入されたイベントです。2016年の12月から第1回目のイベントが開催され、以降毎年12月～1月のホリデーシーズン中に冬のお祭りが開催されるようになりました。

イベント中はいくつかのアイテムや様相がクリスマス仕様になり、クリスマス専用のスキンやアイテム（冬の食べ物、ギフト、ギフト包装、お祭りの木のプランター、冬のお祭りの木、オーナメント）が追加されます。

2018年と2020年に開催されたイベントでは、期間中ログインした人にWinter's Feast Lanternスキンが配布されました。

2019年に開催されたイベントでは、期間中ログインした人にIce Fishing Rodスキンが配布されました。

新しくゲームを始める際、ワールド設定で「Events」の欄を「Winter's Feast」に設定するとイベント期間中と同じ仕様のワールドが生成されます。（ただし、自身が所持していないイベント限定スキンは使えません）

外見変更

イベント期間中は、ゲームプレイに影響を与えない範囲でゲーム内の一部のグラフィックが変更されています。

ボスモンスター

Moose/Goose、Mosling、Bearger、Dragonflyはイベント特有の外見に変更されます。Deerclopsは外見のみならず新たな攻撃パターンも追加されています。

イベント期間中は専用のローディング画面が表示されます。ローディング画面は2016～2018年の間に新たな要素と共に追加されていきました。

トリビア

キャラクター達によれば、Winter's Feastは「Christmas（クリスマス）」、「Hanukkah（ハヌカー）」、「Kwanza（クワンザ）」に代わる「休日」という事になっています。
このイベントは始めにベータ版で試験的に開催され、以後色々なコンテンツを追加したのちに本実装となりました。
KlausとGem Deerはこのイベントにて追加されました。
Festive Tree Planterは初期はFoodタブのアイテムとして扱われ、後にStructuresタブへ移動されました。
これはDon't Starve Togetherにおいて2番目に実装された季節限定イベントです。1番目のイベントはHallowed Nightsになります。
イベント中はメインメニューに流れる音楽がStarver's Carolのインストゥルメンタル版に置き換わっています。
冬のお祭りの料理フィルターは初期はFeastタブとして扱われていましたが、2022年3月のQoLアップデートにてフィルターに変更されました。

元ネタ

2023年に開発スタッフが描いた4枚のクリスマスカードの絵は、「Wierd Snowman」、「Rat on Lobster」、「Who's afraid?」、「Radishman」の1880年代（ビクトリア朝時代）のクリスマスカードが元ネタとなっています。
