Now that I think about it, it really is a good idea to let Klei handle the multiplayer.
Think about it. Because Klei is now undertaking multiplayer (Which will be much easier for them), all the modders who were in the middle of doing Multiplayer would now be able to focus on singleplayer content, which is obviously MUCH easier to do.
