Pig/Tree definitely looks a lot nicer. Even if it's a hassle to edit, I think it would make things a lot neater and nicer visually. Comparing the Tallbird/Beefalo pages to the Tree/Pig ones make them seem cluttered.

Even if linking would be a little harder, I think Pig/Tree is the way to go.
