At this point I sort of headcannon her being posessed by this "Metheus" character and that explains her actions, as I don't believe she would know what she was doing when collecting or absorbing whatever she is getting from the portal in the Forge cinematic. Hell, that may even be the cannon, who knows. I would certainly like to learn more about Metheus.
