Do you even have to enable to console in the settings anymore? Mine was set to false but it was still enabled. I did figure out how to disable it though. And I added it to the page.
In case someone removes it from the page for some reason, to disable it navigate to "\dont_starve\data\scripts\main.lua" and set "CONSOLE_ENABLED" to false.
