I never thought of the Dark Sword being a hallucination itself. I was wondering why the beardlings drop beard hair and nightmare fuel if they're not really there. But then I thought maybe Wilson is so insane that it is real. But then I thought maybe he's just so insane that he thinks it's there but it's not but if you're not insane anymore why is it still there if Wilson is sane? "The Dark Sword is real, made from magic that's all" I thought. But when you think of "nightmare fuel dropped from hallucinations. Must be from Wilson's imagination." but if you're not insane why is it still there? Is Wilson still loony in his head and always will be after going insane once? Is the Dark Sword really just a twig and with the power of the mind it's the strongest there is? Does that mean that Nightlights aren't real either? Is nightarmor really a papersuit powered by imagination? This boggles my mind. Maybe Wilson is really dead but insanity gives an illusion he's still alive. The mind is a mysterious thing. If one was to become totally insane and not grabbing on the reality, does that mean we can fly? Can we ressurect but still be dead? The insanity update was the biggest update to Don't Starve, and probably will always, and will always be unknown to us the truth about these tools. It's strange. I'm trying to think of how it's possible but it just keeps going in a loop. I think "Maybe it is Wilson's imagination" then "But why is it still there" then it loops like "Maybe it's just Wilson's imagination and it's actually not there then "But why?" You see what I mean, or am I just going in circles?
