I couldn't seem to survive hounds, so I turned them completely off. I was at day 143, it was summer, and I was headed toward a walrus camp, when a pack of at least 15 blue hounds came from the direction of the camp. They chased me, killing Chester. I ran into a field with bee hives, and they began attacking and destroying the hives which gave me a chance to escape. But if I turned off hounds, how did this pack happen? Does MacTusk still have blue hounds even if they're turned off? Which would make sense to me, except there should only be two, not 15. Is this some sort of bug? I read about the Hound Mound, which might explain it, except for the fact that I turned hounds off, they're blue, and it's not winter.
