If Klei removed their ability to regenerate health, then overpopulation wouldn't be such a problem. I brought four to the surface and in only a few days there were so many of them that it corrupted my save file. 400 days of hard work wasted. Don't bring them to the surface for more than a day or you'll never be able to get rid of them.
