Yeah this needs to cost A LOT less. I would say it would be somethingl ike this.

1 log, 2 slik, 1 hound tooth (with the hound tooth being the needle there is no need to use 2.) Restores 4 days of duribility. 10 uses before it runs out and you're left with the spool and a damaged hound tooth, then you must replace the thread with 2 more silk. Hound tooth will lose 20% duribility each time it is used on the sewing kit, breaking after 5 uses.

Or something along those lines.
