There is really no grounds to say that "i think they will" - because even when Klei promises things it might not get done (for whatever reasons) which has happened on numerous occasions.
They said they would like to add a character to the game in a DLC, not that they will or it's likely. Just something they want to do. And there's a lot they want to do and cant.
