Description

The "Visible Anchor" template is used to provide such an anchor to a body of text while visibly displaying the anchor words in the body.

Compare this with the default-hidden {{Anchor}} template.

Syntax

{{VAnchor|<anchor name>|[<display text>]}}

Parameters

These parameters are set order-wise. They do not have names. If two parameters are used, the more advisable it is to use {{VAnchor}} or {{Anchor}}.

First parameter

anchor name

The text following the hash/pound sign (#) in the dontstarve.fandom.com link.

Second parameter (Optional)

display text

The alternative words to fill where the anchor template is used in the article.

• Note: Using this optional parameter has the same effect as using Template:Anchor's optional parameter.

Examples

{{VAnchor|Foo Bar}} yields: Foo Bar

• Anchor: [[#Foo Bar]]
• Using {{Anchor}}, you would need to write {{Anchor|Foo Bar|Foo Bar}}. Using {{VAnchor}} removes this redundant language.

{{VAnchor|Baz Ban|Lorem ipsum}} yields: Lorem ipsum

• Anchor: [[#Baz Ban]]
