Just a quick update: Yeah the Shanter really makes a difference in the long-term, and this along with a lantern seems to be the better strategy for Wolfgang in caves. The marble suit, however, doesn't really work out too well for me. Maybe in 1v1 situations it is a good option, but when there are more mobs around you can't afford to stand still and tank all the damage - kiting is necessary and this is impossible with a marble suit. Also, collecting marble is a lot harder than I thought (since I never paid attention to it before), appearing only by the wooden thing + randomly scattered in caves. Since you need 12 marbles for one suit, I can only see this working for a few encounters and then you'd have to find alternatives again.
