I think the dragonfly is the easiest to avoid. Sure, it's the most difficult giant in combat, but every time I played the game, all other giants went straight for my base, the dragonfly didn't. The dragonfly just mindlessly flies around starting fires while other giants literally b-line for my base and breach the walls.
