- Description
- If a hash/pound sign (#) is used near the end of a MediaWiki page's URL, the text immediately following it directs your browser to jump down the page to the given anchor, usually article sections. The {{Anchor}} template is used to provide an anchor to a body of text. Its text is hidden by default.
- Syntax
{{anchor|anchor ID|(text)}}
- Parameters
anchor ID- The text following the hash/pound sign (#) in the dontstarve.fandom.com link.
text(optional)- The alternative words to fill where the anchor template is used in the article.
- Examples
{{anchor|Foo Bar}}yields no text, but now you can visit #Foo Bar to jump to this line.{{anchor|Bas Ban|Lorem ipsum}}yields: Lorem ipsum. You can now visit #Bas Ban to jump to this line.
