Magician's ChestはDon't Starve Togetherで追加されたマクスウェル限定で設置可能な建造物です。作成には糸1つ、板4つ、悪夢の燃料9つ必要で、Survivor Items Filterから作る事ができます。
Magician's Chestを使用すると、プレイヤーは12個のスロットのインベントリを持つシャドウディメンションにアクセスできます。さらにMagician's Top Hat、他のMagician's Chests、シャドウチェスターを通じて物を出し入れすることができます。シャドウディメンションの食用アイテムは1.5倍の速さで腐ります。Magician's Chestには一部のアイテムを保管することはできません(パールのパール、古代の鍵など)。燃焼または破、シャドウチェスターの死亡等でアクセス先が失われてもアイテムはシャドウディメンションに残ります。それらに再びアクセスするには、プレイヤーはシャドウディメンションにアクセスできる別のコンテナを構築する必要があります。サーバーごとに存在できるシャドウディメンションは1つだけで、地上と洞窟で2つに分かれています(洞窟は別のサーバーであるため)。
Magician's Top Hatとは異なり、Magician's Chestはすべてのキャラクターが使用できます。
