Light Tab

Light is used to illuminate the world at Night, lowering the rate at which Sanity decreases and protecting against Charlie, who will attack in total darkness.

In the Reign of Giants DLC, Endothermic Fires, Endothermic Fire Pits, and Moggles were added to the Light Tab.
In the Shipwrecked DLC, the player can craft Chimineas, Buoyant Chimineas, Tar Lamps, Obsidian Fire Pits and Bottle Lanterns in the Light Tab. This DLC also includes Endothermic Fires and Endothermic Fire Pits. Additionally, the two light sources that can be attached to Boats, Boat Torches and Boat Lanterns, are available in this tab.
In the Hamlet DLC, Cork Candle Hats and Cowls were added to this tab, while Pumpkin Lanterns are not available.
