深海鲈鱼（Deep Bass）是一种中海常见的鱼，偶而也会在深海出现。除了随机生成的深海鲈鱼群，它也有一些在地图上固定位置的鱼群，这些固定的鱼群在玩家接近时，或是玩家钓起它们时，可以生成邪天翁。这些鱼群也是唯一有地图标记的鱼群。

深海鲈鱼会吃掉浮在水上的肉类。它们在挣脱钓勾的时候会游向钓鱼者，试图让钓线松弛，因此在船张开一张帆的时候和它们奋战会很有趣。
