鱼（Fish）是一种肉类食物物品，可以在池塘中钓到或是从鱼人身上取得，牠能回复 12.5 饥饿值且可以一格可以堆叠到 40 个。鱼可以挂在干肉架上 1 天以取得小肉干，同时也是烹饪锅食谱中鱼排跟鱼塔可的必要材料。钓鱼（以及杀死火鸡）是不会提升玩家的罪恶值的，所以不用担心会引来坎普斯的注意。

不像是其他的肉类食物，生的鱼在吃下时并不会减少理智。.

烤鱼由将鱼放在营火、火坑或是星星上烹煮所成，比较大的不同点就是，烤鱼能回复的饥饿值和生命值跟生的鱼是一模一样的，唯一的好处就是拥有比较长的保存期，但是烤鱼没办法挂在干肉架上干燥，就像其他煮过的食物一样。

采集

透过在池塘旁使用钓竿可以取得，或是杀死鱼人（同时也会掉落青蛙腿），用锤子锤碎鱼人屋子也会掉落鱼。

在船难DLC中，用拖网在海里捕捞，有概率捞到鱼，而用鱼竿则只会钓到热带鱼。

在哈姆雷特DLC中，砸碎美味的鱼标本可以得到一条鱼，而翠鸟也会掉落鱼，但是这种鱼的外观有所改变，更像是鲤鱼。

淡水魚（Freshwater Fish）在多人版饑荒中取代了魚，這是舊神歸來更新中的改動。殺死淡水魚可以得到 1 個小魚肉，將淡水魚拿去烤可以得到 1 個烤小魚肉。

如果沃特的物品欄有至少一隻魚，她可以每分鐘 +3.33 。沃特或者其他戴著聰明的偽裝的玩家可以和魚人之王用魚交換海藻、普通種子、作物種子、腐爛物、斑點觸手皮和小飾品。魚也可以放入魚類計重器。

在哈姆雷特DLC中，翠鸟掉落的鱼更像是鲤鱼，它的动画文件名称是"Coi"，是日语中的鲤鱼。
