This category lists all interior areas included in the Hamlet DLC.

Mechanics

• When being interior, there is no loss of Sanity in darkness. One can still be attacked by Charlie in complete darkness however, except for interior areas of Pig Shops and Slanty Shanty.
• Rain, Lightning Strikes, Heavy Fog, Strong Winds, Volcanic Eruptions, Wildfires, Snow and Hailstorms do not effect/occur in interior areas.
  • Puddles do not spawn indoors during Monsoon Season.
  • Drying Rack do not effect from Rain.
• Most Structures can be built in interior areas, except for Basic Farm and Improved Farm.
• Items and Structures in City Planning Tab cannot be crafted in interior areas. Those in Renovate Tab can only be crafted in interior areas of Slanty Shanty.
• Birds do not spawn in the interior areas.
• There are no pack attacks in the interior areas.
• Seeds, Pine Cone, Sapling, Berry Bush, Grass, Butterfly, Birchnut, Bamboo Patch, Viney Bush, Jungle Tree Seed, Seaweed Stalk, Coconut, Jungle Burr and Seed Pod cannot be planted in the interior areas.
• Hay Fever, Overheating and Freezing can still happen in interior areas. Being in interior areas can delay overheating, as if staying under a tree. Near the beginning and end of Reign of Giants's Summer, this will be enough to prevent overheating damage. However, during the middle of Summer, interior areas alone won't provide enough protection to prevent overheating. In the Shipwrecked DLC, there is no risk in doing so in Dry Season, as the temperature is not as severe compared to Summer.
• Shadow Creature can spawn in interior areas if one's sanity is too low.
• Krampus can follow one to interior areas, but they cannot spawn in interior areas.
• Night Hand can spawn in interior areas.
• Woodlegs' Lucky Hat cannot create X Marks the Spot in interior areas.
• Spyglass and Super Spyglass cannot reveal a portion of the Map in interior areas.

Bugs

• Entering another room while a item catches on fire will not spawn Ash.
• Entering another room while Chests catches on fire will delete all items in the Chests including ones that are unrenewable.
• Placed Spider Den in interior areas won't show Sticky Webbing.
