破旧鱼屋是能在沼泽中能找到的建筑，它主要的目的就是提供可以让鱼人生成与居住的地方。破旧鱼屋的外表和猪人屋十分相似，但似乎是在一个废弃的完全状态。而且玩家并无法制作破旧鱼屋，这让它成为非再生资源。
使用槌子摧毁破旧鱼屋可以得到 2 颗圆石、1 片木板及 1 条鱼。
DLC
在 船难 DLC，潮汐沼泽的破旧鱼屋被鱼人小屋代替。鱼人小屋有更加海岛的风格而且更加美观。当鱼人小屋摧毁时会掉落热带鱼，除此之外两者都一样。
出生频率
一栋破旧鱼屋最多同时能够保有 4 只鱼人并且当鱼人死亡时每 4 天补充 1 只。在白天时，每栋只会有 1 只鱼人在外头徘徊。当该鱼人进入战斗或是鱼屋被锤子敲到的话，则所有鱼人都会倾巢而出加入战斗。并且当黄昏来临时，所有的鱼人都会跑出来乱晃。
