鱼饵（Lures）是多人版饥荒的独有物品且在旧神归来加入。鱼饵可以放置在海钓竿的鱼饵槽中以提高海钓竿对海洋鱼类的吸引力。不同的鱼饵对各种海洋鱼类各有不同的效果，有的鱼饵可能完全无法吸引某些海鱼，有些可能特别适合某种海洋鱼类。有些简单的物品也能当作鱼饵，例如种子、腐烂物和浆果，有的鱼饵例如匙形假饵和旋转亮片，就要通过钓具容器解锁钓鱼类进行制作。折弯的叉匙也可以作为鱼饵。
用途
其实海钓竿的钩子不用在鱼饵槽中放置鱼饵也可以捕获所有海洋鱼类，但是，鱼会咬钩的可能性很小。添加鱼饵可以增加鱼咬钩的可能性，尽管某些鱼无法被鱼饵吸引，但鱼饵对大多数鱼都非常有效。另外，鱼饵还会影响海钓竿的吸引半径和抛竿距离。
- 吸引半径 是指海洋鱼类被鱼饵吸引的最大距离。半径越大，就可能有越多鱼饵周围的鱼被吸引。
- 抛竿距离 是海钓竿抛竿距离的加成，有些鱼饵会增加海钓竿的抛竿距离。
- 吸引力 决定鱼前来咬饵的速度。数值越高代表鱼会越快咬饵。如果玩家收线，则可以获得收线吸引力加成，会在 2 秒内衰减。
腐烂物、种子和浆果是一次性使用的，钓到鱼后就会消耗掉，它们的吸引力也和新鲜程度有关。
另一方面，可以合成的鱼饵只要没有因收竿失败而弄丢它们，就会保留下来。当鱼在咬住鱼饵后成功逃脱时，用来吸引鱼的鱼饵和使用的鱼漂就会一起消失。
日出、黄昏和夜间鱼饵只有在它们对应的日夜周期能发挥 100% 的吸引力，在一天的其它时间只会有 30%。
下雨或下雪时，所有鱼饵的吸引力都会降低 50%，除了雨天鱼饵和雪天鱼饵，它们在对应的天气会有 100% 的吸引力，不过在其它时候都会是 0%。
麻醉鱼饵会让鱼的精力消耗得更快，使得鱼咬饵之后，钓起它变得更容易。
重量级鱼饵只会吸引某个鱼种中前 20% 重的鱼。
每种海洋鱼类对不同的鱼饵都有自己的喜好，这也会影响鱼饵对每种鱼的吸引力。
