鱼饵（Lures）是多人版饥荒的独有物品且在旧神归来加入。鱼饵可以放置在海釣竿的鱼饵槽中以提高海钓竿对海洋鱼类的吸引力。不同的鱼饵对各種海洋鱼类各有不同的效果，有的鱼饵可能完全无法吸引某些海鱼，有些可能特別适合某种海洋鱼类。有些簡單的物品也能當作魚餌，例如种子、腐烂物和浆果，有的鱼饵例如匙形假餌和旋轉亮片，就要通过釣具容器解锁钓鱼类进行制作。折彎的叉匙也可以作为鱼饵。
用途
其实海釣竿的钩子不用在鱼饵槽中放置鱼饵也可以捕获所有海洋鱼类，但是，鱼会咬钩的可能性很小。添加鱼饵可以增加鱼咬钩的可能性，尽管某些鱼无法被鱼饵吸引，但鱼饵对大多数鱼都非常有效。另外，鱼饵还会影响海钓竿的吸引半径和抛竿距离。
- 吸引半径 是指海洋鱼类被鱼饵吸引的最大距离。半径越大，就可能有越多鱼饵周圍的鱼被吸引。
- 抛竿距离 是海钓竿抛竿距离的加成，有些鱼饵會增加海釣竿的拋竿距離。
- 吸引力 決定魚前來咬餌的速度。數值越高代表魚會越快咬餌。如果玩家收线，则可以获得收線吸引力加成，會在 2 秒内衰减。
腐爛物、種子和漿果是一次性使用的，钓到鱼后就会消耗掉，它們的吸引力也和新鮮程度有關。
另一方面，可以合成的魚餌只要沒有因收竿失败而弄丢它们，就会保留下来。当鱼在咬住鱼饵后成功逃脱时，用来吸引鱼的鱼饵和使用的鱼漂就会一起消失。
日出、黃昏和夜間魚餌只有在它們對應的日夜週期能發揮 100% 的吸引力，在一天的其它時間只會有 30%。
下雨或下雪時，所有魚餌的吸引力都會降低 50%，除了雨天魚餌和雪天魚餌，它們在對應的天氣會有 100% 的吸引力，不過在其它時候都會是 0%。
麻醉魚餌會讓魚的精力消耗得更快，使得魚咬餌之後，釣起牠變得更容易。
重量級魚餌只會吸引某個魚種中前 20% 重的魚。
每种海洋鱼类对不同的鱼饵都有自己的喜好，這也會影響魚餌對每種魚的吸引力。
