None | Workout Structure used to increase Wolfgang's Mightiness. Once loaded with two heavy objects (the Gym comes with two Potato Sacks, although other heavy objects such as Giant Crops, chess pieces, or sculptures work), Wolfgang can use the Gym to work out. The player must perform a timing minigame to make Wolfgang lift the weights, a successful rep granting +4-10 |

Coach Wolfgang |
Can be blown while in Normal form to begin coaching. While coaching, Wolfgang occassionally shouts encouraging words to players and followers within a 6.25 tile radius: affected followers deal 2.0x damage for 10 seconds, while affected players gain +5 |

Mightiness
Wolfgang has a unique Mightiness stat, which goes up to 100 and decreases over time. Depending on the exact value of his Mightiness, Wolfgang's body will change in size and strength, altering his physical prowess.
- Normal: Wolfgang starts at 50 Mightiness, with a slim and fit build. His physical damage and tool efficiency are both average.
- Wimpy: While at ≤25 Mightiness, Wolfgang is skinny and weak. His physical damage, hunger drain and work efficiency are reduced by 25%.
- Mighty: While at ≥75 Mightiness, Wolfgang becomes so muscular and strong that his pecs burst through his clothes. He deals 2.0x physical damage, has an increased work efficiency by 25% (with a 1% chance to instantly break the Structure he is working on), has an increased row efficiency of 1.33x, gains +30 Freezing resistance, and is immune to movement speed penalties from non-magical sources like carrying Heavy Items.
Mightiness drains over time, although it drains faster if Wolfgang is at low Hunger. The drain pauses while Wolfgang is working, fighting, or moving while having a dumbbell or Heavy Items equipped, and remains paused for 4 seconds (1.33 seconds if moving with dumbbell) after Wolfgang has stopped doing one of the aforementioned activities. Refer to the table for exact values:
| ≥150 | -6/min |
| 100-149 | -12/min |
| 50-99 | -24/min |
| 1-49 | -36/min |
| 0 | -96/min |
Mightiness is regained through physical work, as shown below:
| Tool | |
|---|---|
| +0.25 | |
| +0.5 | |
| +1 | |
| +1.5 | |
| +2 |
Perk
- Wolfgang's favorite food is Roast Potatoes, which restore an additional +15
than usual.
Disadvantages
- All negative Sanity effects are 1.1x more effective on Wolfgang. The Sanity drain from darkness in particular is increased by 1.3x (-6.5
/min) unless another player or follower is within 4 tiles of Wolfgang, in which case it drops to -5.5
/min.

Tips
- Since Wolfgang's sanity drain penalty affects him so little, it's fairly easy to overcome. Even in a Light's Out world, picking a Flower per day will even out the Sanity drain with other Characters. When fighting Monsters in Mighty form, Wolfgang will actually lose less Sanity than other Characters, due to the fights being shorter, resulting in less exposure to the insanity aura. The Lunar Strategist skills can boost the damage even further when dealing with Shadow Creatures in general. This makes going to the Ruins as him not too much of a hassle.
- A Tam o' Shanter provides +6.7
/min, being a great Item to manage Wolfgang's Sanity. It not only stops Sanity drain at Night even for him, but it lasts very long and even provides insulation against the cold. Sleeping in a Tent or eating Taffy, Cooked Green Caps, Jerky or Pumpkin Cookies is also desirable when trying to get big amounts of Sanity back quickly.
- A Tam o' Shanter provides +6.7
- Apart from various traps and Gunpowder, the Weather Pain and the Fire Staff are the only weapons not affected by Wolfgang's damage multipliers, making them effective even when Wolfgang is Wimpy.
- Due to the way the bonus damage is calculated on Planar Damage, they don't do as much damage as they normally would with Mighty Wolfgang without Mighty Weapons skills, but on the other hand, they won't do as low as they would with Wimpy Wolfgang, making them still very good when used with him.
- The Leg Day skill is very helpful for players that want to use the Piggyback, as having it means Wolfgang can eliminate its speed penalty both when Mighty and Normal.
Bugs
- While wearing some of the hats while in Normal form, Wolfgang's mustache will disappear when the player moves towards the top of the screen.
