“Is for salads. Blech.”

“This mushroom is disappointingly normal.”

“CULINARY FUNGUS”

“Seems edible, though it may not be totally sane to consume it.”

“I've eaten stranger things in the woods.”

“I should eat it.”

“Raw fungus is not something my stomach can process.”

“Terrible!”

“Smells really earthy.”

“Looks sort of tasty.”

“Don't crowd the mushrooms.”

“Not me top choice o' grub.”

Green Caps are Vegetable Food Items that can be harvested on Green Mushrooms or Green Mushtrees. A raw Green Cap will take away a hefty 50 when eaten, while also restoring 12.5
. It has no effect on health. Green Caps can also be used as Crock Pot filler with a 0.5 vegetable value.
Cooked Green Cap

“It's different now...”

“I changed it with fire!”

“Is not same.”

“All is malleable.”

“MODIFIED FUNGUS”

“Chemistry has happened.”

“I don't trust it.”

“It's probably safe now that it's cooked, right?”

“For some reason the thought of eating it isn't so repulsive now.”
A Cooked Green Cap is a Vegetable Food Item made by Cooking a Green Cap on a fire (Campfire, Fire Pit, Dwarf Star, etc.). Unlike its raw counterpart, the Cooked Green Cap will instead restore 15 and take away 1
when eaten, not affecting hunger at all.
Downloadable Content
In the Shipwrecked DLC, Green Caps can be obtained by using the Slot Machine.
In Hamlet Green Caps can be bought for 2 Oincs at the Curly Tails Mud Spa in the Pig City.
