“Well... I guess there's time for a quick cup of tea.”
The Soothing Tea is a recipe exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the Return of Them update. It is made with 1 Forget-Me-Lots, 1 Honey or Honeycomb, 1 Ice, and 1 Filler that cannot be Monster Food, Meats, Fish, Egg, Dairy, Inedible or Vegetable (a convenient filler would be more of the required ingredients or Fruit).
It restores 3 health and 15 sanity and an additional 30 sanity over 1 minute. It increases the temperature perceived by the player by 1 degree per second over 5 seconds.

Tips
- Except for Ice Cream, this dish has the highest efficiency in terms of sanity gain per honey.
- Soothing Tea is a useful sanity-restoring item for Wortox and Warly, as the sanity gained over time is not decreased by their food penalties.
- This recipe is an effective method of restoring sanity in Winter. Ice is easily available from Mini Glaciers. Forget-Me-Lots will grow on empty farm plots, even in Winter. Honey can be stocked up in advance thanks to its long shelf life, or obtained every day by hammering the Gigantic Beehive.
- As the sanity-over-time effect is not affected by spoilage, a spoilt Soothing Tea will have a net gain of 5 sanity.
- It can be more effective to farm Toma Root and Onion for Salsa Fresca, instead of farming Forget-Me-Lots.
Trivia
- The Soothing Tea was introduced in the Reap What You Sow update.
