The Sweet Potato is a Vegetable Food item in the Shipwrecked DLC. Sweet Potatoes have exactly the same raw and cooked stats as carrots. Sweet Potatoes can be Farmed by planting Seeds for a 22.2% chance of growing or using Sweet Potato Seeds. It should be noted that Sweet Potatoes will only be available via farming in Worlds that are compatible with the Shipwrecked or Hamlet DLC.

Cooked Sweet Potato is a Vegetable food item made by Cooking a Sweet Potato on a Campfire, Fire Pit, Chiminea or a Dwarf Star. It restores slightly more health than its raw counterpart. It can be used as an ingredient in several Crock Pot recipes.

Planted Sweet Potato can be found naturally in the Meadow biome and can be eaten and cooked, much like the Carrot in the original Don't Starve.
