• During the Pig Fiesta event, Steamed Ham Sandwich takes on a more festive appearance.
• The Steamed Ham Sandwich is a reference to a scene from an episode of The Simpsons titled "22 Short Films about Springfield", where the character Principal Skinner buys hamburgers and calls them steamed hams. The scene has become a popular meme and every examination line for it references it in some way.
