Royal Jelly is a Sweetener Food item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in A New Reign. It is dropped by the Bee Queen and can be used to cook Jellybeans in the Crock Pot. It can also be eaten directly, restoring 40 Health Meter.png, 12.5 Hunger Meter.png, and 15 Sanity Meter.png. Royal Jelly takes 10 days to spoil.

Prototype.png Tips

  • Unlike Royal Jelly, Jellybeans are not perishable, therefore it is a good idea to cook Royal Jelly into Jellybeans as soon as possible if players are not planning to consume it directly.

Placeholder.png Trivia

  • Royal Jelly was introduced in the Cute Fuzzy Animals update.
  • Real life Royal Jelly is a honey bee secretion that is used in the nutrition of queen bee larvae, as well as adult queens.
