“Smells like fresh research.”
“Looks like dumb science stuff for nerds.”
“Is tiny boring paper.”
“If I'm lucky, it might just bore me to death.”
“DISGUSTING RAW BIO DATA. BEGIN THE REFINING PROCESS”
“An incredibly thorough analysis. Well done!”
“Doesn't seem right to boil nature down to just a bunch of facts and figures.”
“Well... fine. I suppose that sums it all up, more or less.”
“The metal scöut's repört!”
“Wow, it learned all that just by looking really hard?”
“What is this they're cooking up?”
“Hmm!”
“Yeesh, this stuff would make ol' Wickerbottom's writing seem flowery.”
“Hyuyuyu, I think our friend has some tricks up those tin sleeves!”
“Glurgh... can Wicker-lady read it?”
–Wurt
“Neat! Wanna scan me next?”
“It's of no use to me, I won't waste time reading it.”
Bio Data is an item that can only be obtained by the Bio Scanalyzer after it scans a mob and is exclusive to Don't Starve Together. Bio Data is used to craft Circuits exclusive to WX-78.
Creatures may be re-scanned for the same amount of Bio Data after a day has passed.
The table below shows how much Bio Data the Bio Scanalyzer will drop after successfully scanning a mob.
It is important to note that Horror and Nightmare variants of Shadow Creatures are considered separate creatures and yield different quantities of Bio Data[1]. For example, a Terrorbeak spawned from low sanity will give 3 Bio Data, while a Nightmarebeak spawned from an active Nightmare Fissure in the Ruins will yield 6 Bio Data.

Trivia
- Bio Data resembles punch cards or punch tape, which were invented in the 18th century. These were used for input, output, and the storage of data throughout a large part of the 20th century.
- This lines up with its use as storage of usable data on the various lifeforms of the Constant, and WX-78 originating from the early 20th century.
