Woodlegs' Keys are items found in the Shipwrecked DLC. They are used to free Woodlegs from his cage at the Volcano and can each be obtained in different ways.
Bone Key
“Something, somewhere must be locked.”
“A key to what?”
“Spooky key!”
“What unfortunate soul donated their bones for this?”
“AN ANALOG KEY”
“A skull key...”
“What might this open?”
“Brittle.”
“Carved from skeletal remains.”
“What might this öpen?”
“What will it open?”
“It's a boney key.”
“Some sort of menacing key.”
“A useless thing if ever there were one.”
“OPEN LOCKS”
“Key”
“Bone key. Not the first one I've seen.”
The Bone Key is obtained by fishing a Watery Grave. The chances of receiving it increase with each Watery Grave fished.
Golden Key
“This key probably unlocks something.”
“Something must be locked up somewhere.”
“Pretty key!”
“It probably unlocks something fancy.”
“A RIDICULOUS KEY”
“Which lock does this activate?”
“Key to what?”
“A key of fine gold.”
“Quite an ingenious design. Meant to inspire fear, no doubt.”
“Anöther key!”
“This key's probably worth more than what it unlocks.”
“Fancy.”
“Some sort of menacing key.”
“A useless thing if ever there were one.”
“WILBA KNOW NAUGHT WHAT 'TIS FOR”
“Key. What for?”
“Gold and keys. Two sure signs of an adventure.”
The Golden Key has a 10% chance to be a reward from trading with the Yaarctopus, if it has not already been obtained.
Iron Key
“That's a key.”
“Another key.”
“Boring key!”
“What do you open?”
“NOT A DRM KEY”
“A key of great curiosity.”
“I should hold on to this, eh?”
“Just common iron.”
“Made of iron. Is there iron in this world?!”
“A strange key!”
“A thing for opening other things.”
“An iron key. What's it open?”
“Some sort of menacing key.”
“A useless thing if ever there were one.”
“WHATFORE DOST IT OPEN?”
“Opens something”
“Where there's a key, there's a lock.”
The Iron Key is dropped by the Quacken, if it is not already present in the world.
