The Melonsicle is a Fruit Food item introduced in the Reign of Giants DLC. It is inexplicably cooked in the Crock Pot by combining 1 Raw Watermelon, 1 Ice, and 1 Twig.

No Meats, Vegetables, or Eggs should be added.

Melonsicles restore 20 Sanity Meter.png when consumed. This, paired with the fact that the ingredients can be kept fresh forever (Melons left unharvested and Ice stored in Ice Boxes), makes it one of the best Sanity restoring Food items in the game.

In addition, Melonsicles decrease the player's perceived temperature by 1 degree per second for 10 seconds when consumed.

Melonsicles are also included in the Shipwrecked DLC, as Watermelons are available through Farming and Ice can be obtained by using an Ice Maker 3000 or by Refining Hail. They can be used to deal with Overheating during the Dry Season.
