The Kelp Patch is an item that can be used to plug Leaks temporarily. On small Leaks it will last 6 minutes; on medium leaks it will last 4 minutes, after which the Kelp Patch breaks. Every collision a boat receives can also destroy Kelp Patches. It can also be used as food or fire fuel.
