The Umbralla is a craftable clothing Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in From Beyond. It can only be crafted while next to a Shadowcraft Plinth, and requires 5 Pure Horror and 1 Dark Tatters to craft.

The Umbralla provides 100% protection from Wetness and slows down Overheating on par with the Eyebrella. While equipped, the Umbralla lowers Sanity by 3.3 per minute.

Additionally, the Umbralla protects against all Acid Rain effects, and while equipped during Acid Rain it restores its own durability at a rate of 6.6% per day, completely eliminating the loss of durability.

The Umbralla also negates damage from falling objects during Lunar Hail.

While on the ground, the Umbralla can be activated to create an area-of-effect dome with a radius of 16 wall units, which offers protection in a somewhat different manner. Its effect simply causes precipitation to not occur within the dome's area. This means:

• There is no Overheating protection within the dome.
• Acid Rain does not restore the Umbralla's durability while activated on the ground.
• Lunar Hail does not fall at all within the dome's area, rather than simply preventing damage.

While the Umbralla is deployed in this way, it depletes its durability and produces a negative sanity aura in the same area as its dome, ranging from -0.1/min to -27.5/min sanity drain depending on the character's distance from the Umbralla.

The Umbralla is a level 3 item for Maxwell's Shadow Puppets.

When the Umbralla's durability reaches 0%, it does not disappear; instead, it is unequipped and can no longer be equipped until repaired. It can be fully repaired by one Void Repair Kit.
