The Blue Gem is an item used to craft several Magical Items. It can be used to craft the Ice Staff, Chilled Amulet and Purple Gem.
Blue Gems can be used to turn Chester into Snow Chester by placing at least one in each of his inventory slots on a Full Moon, granting him slower food spoilage like a mobile Ice Box.
Blue Gems can be used to craft a Salt Box and inserted into Cratered Moonrocks to acquire a Blue Moonlens. They can also be used to power Winona's G.E.M.erator.
Gathering
- Dragonfly and the Malbatross drop Blue Gems upon death.
- Blue Gem Deer will also drop a Blue Gem if killed or if Klaus is dead.
- Blue Gems have a 0.04% chance to be dropped by Tumbleweeds.
- Sunken Chests can contain a Blue Gem, with equal chance of a Red Gem in its place.
- Blue Gems can be crafted by Wilson if he has obtained "Transmute Gems I".
- 15% chance to be found in Ornate Chest
