The Record is a craftable item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced within the From Beyond updates. It can be crafted in the Decorations Filter with 1 Batilisk Wing and 1 Charcoal and requires an Alchemy Engine to prototype. There are 4 variants of Records by default that can be selected by choosing a skin, and 1 extra skin that can be obtained from the Hallowed nights 2024 comic on the Klei website. Players can use Clean Sweeper to change the skin as well as the track.

A Record can be put into a Gramophone to play a song. If a Record is already in the Gramophone, it will be dropped when a new Record is inserted.

A special Record can be acquired only from playing the game with JIMBO. Players can use the Clean Sweeper to change its appearance to other music (excluding Classic), but its unique track is exclusive to this Record. In other words, reskinning a crafted Record will not grant access to this song.
