The Potted Fern is a craftable structure. They are purely for decoration and serve no other purpose. There are 10 different varieties of Potted Ferns. Since there is a limited amount of Ferns which can be picked in a single world, only a limited number of Potted Ferns can be made.

Downloadable Content

In the Reign of Giants DLC, players have a 1% chance of finding Foliage inside Tumbleweeds, thus making Potted Ferns renewable.
