The Ancient Guard Post is a naturally spawning object exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in Return of Them. It is common in the Ancient Archive biome.

Ancient Guard Posts are activated by the Archive Switch. When activated, they send Security Pulses toward Sentrypede Husks to activate them into fully functioning Ancient Sentrypedes.

The Security Pulse is emitted by Ancient Guard Post. It roams into the Ancient Archive corridor until it is absorbed by a Sentrypede Husk to reanimate it into an Ancient Sentrypede. A Security Pulse can also be absorbed by a Spark Ark when placed on the floor. A Security Pulse does not collide with players or structures.
