The Tar Suit is a craftable Dress Item exclusive to the Shipwrecked DLC. It is found in the Dress Tab, requires a Science Machine to prototype, and 4 Tar, 2 Palm Leaves, and 2 Cloth to craft. The Sewing Kit doesn't repair its durability, instead it can be repaired with tar restoring 25% durability.

When worn during Rain, the player's Wetness will not increase at all.

Placeholder.png Trivia

  • The Tar Suit was added to the Shipwrecked DLC more than a year after its official completion in the Home Sea Home update, after being tested in a beta branch for several months.
  • The Tar Suit is most likely made out of tar paper, which was commonly used in Hoovervilles to keep out rain from cardboard houses.
