I suppose that's why there are no vampires around.

Garlic is a Vegetable Food Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together. It can be grown from Seed Pods and made into Roasted Garlic by being cooked at a Fire source. It can also be used by Warly to produce Garlic Powder with the Portable Grinding Mill. Feeding a Garlic to a bird in a Birdcage will produce 1 Garlic Seed.

Placeholder.png Trivia

  • Garlic was originally exclusive to The Gorge event, but it was later introduced into the main game along with the Warly Character Update.
  • Maxwell, Webber, and Walter's quotes refer to how garlic is used in folklore to ward away supernatural creatures, especially vampires. This is also the reason that Wortox hisses when he examines garlic.
