Steel Wool is an Item obtained by killing a Ewecus. It is a major crafting ingredient of the War Saddle and the Brush. It can also be burned, providing the same burn time as a Log. In Don't Starve Together, Steel Wool is required to adopt an Ewelet at the Rock Den.

• Steel Wool was introduced to Don't Starve Together in the Stuck in the Middle with Ewe update. It was later added to Don't Starve in the Quality of Life update.
