• When she examines The Eye of the Tiger Shark, she says "Tyger, tyger, burning bright...". This is a reference to a poem called "The Tyger", written by English poet William Blake in 1794.
• Her announcement quote for a volcanic eruption in Shipwrecked ("Not with a bang, but with an ERUPTION!") is a reference to T.S. Elliot's poem The Hollow Men.
