A Drumstick is a Meat Food Item dropped when a Gobbler or Pengull is killed. Two raw drumsticks can be added to a Crock Pot along with another piece of meat, and 1 Fruit or Vegetable to produce a Turkey Dinner. A drumstick can also be used as a meat filler for other recipes, or dried on a Drying Rack for 1 day to produce a Small Jerky. Like other meats, a drumstick can be given to a Pig to have them follow the player, or to the Pig King in exchange for a Gold Nugget.

A Fried Drumstick is a Drumstick that has been Cooked on a Campfire, Fire Pit or Star. When eaten, it replenishes 12.5 Hunger and 1 Health. If a Gobbler dies from being set on fire, it will drop a Fried Drumstick instead. A Fried Drumstick can be given to a Pig to have them follow the player, or to the Pig King in exchange for a Gold Nugget. It may also be used as a meat filler in the Crock Pot, however, the Turkey Dinner still requires two raw drumsticks as a prerequisite.

In the Reign of Giants DLC, Drumsticks can be acquired by killing Buzzards, a Moose/Goose or Moslings.
In the Shipwrecked DLC, Drumsticks are dropped by Doydoys.
In the Hamlet DLC, Drumsticks are dropped by Peagawks or Thunderbirds and there is a chance to spawn in a Secret Bandit Camp.
